This is the true story of 15 strangers picked to live in Japan and have their lives changed. Find out what happens when people stop being afraid, and start getting awesome.

What happened last year…

El año pasado fue el mejor año de mi vida al momento. Hoy se cumple ya 1 año desde que viajé a tierras desconocidas para vivir una gran aventura que terminaría definiendo a la persona en que me he convertido hoy en día.

Tuve la fortuna de vivir una gran experiencia en compañía de un gran equipo de amigos que a la fecha sigo frecuentando y con quienes logré forjar un gran vínculo. Son tantas las cosas que vivimos juntos estando allá. Muchos recuerdos, grandes retos, muchas personas y lugares conocidos, bromas y anécdotas también, pero sobre todo fueron los pequeños detalles del día a día lo que me hace recordar con mucho cariño esta experiencia.

Este post va dedicado a todos esos buenos momentos que para siempre estarán con nosotros. Con mucha nostalgia escribo y publico estas fotos, pero también con una gran alegría que siempre llevaré conmigo, porque este viaje me dejó grandes amigos, una experiencia de vida,  muchos aprendizajes, me ayudó a superar muchos miedos y a ganar confianza y seguridad en mi persona, a confiar en mí mismo y mi potencial para superar cualquier reto y lograr lo que me proponga pero, sobre todo, aprender a disfrutar del momento presente, que es lo único que tenemos siempre.

The Song:

Esta sin duda alguna fue mi canción del viaje. Siempre me trae buenos recuerdos y el sentimiento de cuando estaba allá. La escuchaba en los trayectos del tren y en la bicicleta. Nada que ver la canción con la experiencia y el país pero le guardo cariño y la verdad esta muy buena.

Los logros / achievements / trofeos:

Los gamers entenderán mejor la siguiente parte, pero es una pequeña lista de cosas que hice mientras estuve allá. I regret nothing y desearía poder volver a hacer muchas cosas de la lista.

-Ride more than 30km in bicycle in 1 day.

-Finish chapter 2 of the trip.

*The water imperial capital.

-Visit Osaka for the first time.

*Refresh!

-Drink 20 different sodas / juices

-Buy girl underwear from a vending machine.

*DMM BBQ

-Finish the BBQ sidequest.

*How do you shit on this??

-Use a traditional Japanese toilet.

*Sing a long~

-Go to a karaoke all night.

*The eternal ancient capital.

-Visit Kyoto for the first time.

*Changing Destiny.

-Finish chapter 3 of the trip.

*Nihonjin tomadachi.

-Befriend 10 japanese.

*Reunion

-Completed The Crew in Japan sidequest.

*Marathon man.

-Walk more than 10 km in a day.

*Tori crossing.

-Cross over 1000 tori doors.

*The mistic kappa river.

-Stop the Kappa invasion in the Japanese alps.

-Spended 1 day without leaving the apartment.

-Wear traditional japanese cloaths.

*The dissapearance of the universe.

-Finish chapter 4 of the trip.

-Completed the Ayano & Ayana girls sidequest.

*The southern capital.

-Visit Nara for the first time.

-Kiss a little deer.

*Go Diego Go!

-Went exploring 5 different nature locations.

*Castle Crasher.

-Entered 3 different castles.

*It´s not too far away!

-Go from one city to another by bicycle.

*Kaimono freak.

-Buy 50 omiyages.

*Nihonjin kanojo boshuu shu

-Take a photo wearing the “i want a japanese girlfriend t-shirt”

*The racing circuit.

-Visit and travel through Japan´s F1 circuit.

*Let´s get naked!

-Went to an Onzen.

*Last train home.

-Catch the last train back home.

*Viva México Cabrones!

-Celebrate the grito de independencia in the apartments.

*It´s not illegal here…

-Drink alcohol in the street.

*Call the cops!

-Get a visit from the police in the apartments.

*Welcome to the mansion, master.

-Go to a maid café.

*The other side of the sea.

-Go to a sea side area.

*Gotta catch them all!

-Visit and buy something from a Pókemon center.

*I finally got something!

-Win something from a crane machine.

*The nearby cities.

-Went to Seki, Gifu and Inuyama.

*Its snowing!

-Make a snowman,  a snow angel and fight a snowball fight.

*Training completed!

-Finish the Daido training in DPB.

*Never too late!

-Always be on time for work.

-Climb the holy walls of Kyomizudera.

*High speed traveler.

-Take a ride in the shinkansen / bullet train

*The Eastern capital city.

-Visit Tokyo for the first time.

*Biohazard

-Have dinner in the Resident Evil Restaurant.

*1/2 million yen spender.

-Spend over 500,000 yens in the country.

*Im lovin it

-Eat 20 times in a McDonalds.

*A giant transformer!

-Discover the giant Gundam of Japan.

*Judgement Day: Showdown in Tokyo

-Survive the events of the end of the world.

*Setting sun, rising dawn

-View the first sunset / dawn of the year.

*A New Earth

-Finish chapter 5 of the trip.

*Goodbye New life.

-Complete the Japan adventure and return home safe.
